Vincent Rodriguez III starred as Josh Chan in the critically-acclaimed Emmy and Golden Globe winning CW musical comedy "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend." The television show tells the story of Rebecca Bunch, a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman who impulsively gives up her prestigious New York life after running into her summer camp boyfriend, Josh Chan. Her obsession with Josh leads her to follow him to his hometown of West Covina, California, in a desperate attempt to finally find love and happiness. As a musical comedy, Rodriguez showcases his musical theater chops throughout each season through its many original songs and dance routines.

Originally from a suburb of San Francisco (Daly City), Rodriguez has had a love of music and the performing arts from an early age. After junior college, he decided to pursue his dreams by earning a degree from the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Shortly after graduation, he booked his first audition dancing in the ensemble of the national tour of "42nd Street," working his way up to a principal understudy. After the tour ended, Rodriguez decided to make the move east to New York. That fortuitous relocation landed him in musicals at regional theaters all over the U.S.

Some of Rodriguez's stage credits include the national tours of "Xanadu," "Anything Goes," and "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" (original cast & recording). Additional theater credits include "Oklahoma!," "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (workshop, west and east coast premieres, and studio cast recording), and "Here Lies Love." On television, he has guest starred on "Donny!," "Another Period”, “Adam Ruins Everything" and "Designated Survivor."

In his spare time, Rodriguez works out, takes classes in acting and improv, and trains in extreme martial arts with a focus on weapons, stunts, and acrobatics.

He currently resides in Los Angeles.
